We need your help coming up with funny team names for one of Super Shocks future updates!

You can come up with as many suggestions as you like. If you want to create something in photoshop or whatever, then you get bonus points.

The winner will be selected at our discretion and get the following…

- Your team will become one of the new teams we’re adding to an upcoming update to the game. Fully playable and designed.

-Your name etched into our credits page forever. Bragging rights included.

- 5 Promo Codes to give out to friends and family.

Even if you don’t win you still have a shot at getting a free copy of the game just by entering. We will pick winners at random and notify you upon the contests completion.

Contest will run from today till Valentines day (Feb. 1st- Feb. 14th 2010)

Only rules we have are keep it clean! We won’t consider anything that isn’t PG-13 or under.

Remember this game is suppose to be vintage and funny so keep that in mind. The sillier the name the better!

Super Shock Football is Coming to the iPad

We’re very excited about Apple’s newest device the iPad. With it’s beautiful large display we think it’ll be the perfect device to play Super Shock Football on. We are going through the game from top to bottom making sure it plays perfect and looks amazing on the iPad. The players will be almost life sized and there will be plenty of room to play with a friend on the same tablet. We will keep you updated on our progress as we get closer to launch.

1.1 Update and Price Drop!

We’re excited to announce that Super Shock Football is now available for the low low price of just 99 pennies! Even better still….. we just submitted our first major update to Apple. It should find its way to your iphone in the next week or two. Here’s a complete list of what’s in the update….

■ Added timer to passing target. (varies for difficulty)

■ Improved defensive A.I. (varies for difficulty)

■ Added ability to rotate players.

■ Added fast forward button during plays.

■ New Open Feint with chat enabled.

■ Quick start now saves last difficulty played.

■ Optimized game for a nice performance boost.

■ Smoother kicking. (especially for 3G iphones.)

■ Banner added to loading screen showing the difficulty selected.

■ Fixed bug where player changed teams

■ Fixed bug where game would freeze at end of game.

We’re Getting Published!

Our game has just got picked up by Chillingo, one of the iPhone’s biggest and best publisher. Crazy awesome!

So what does this mean? Well, typically you can self publish your own games on the iTunes AppStore, but with over 65,000 apps currently out there its almost impossible to get noticed. With everyone screaming for attention, it helps having a heavy weight like Chillingo on your side. They add the ’street cred’ needed to get our game in front of the right people and on the AppStore exposer drives sales.
