Chillingo and Steamroller Studios is happy to give you a peak at what’s under the hood for the new Super Shock Football HD for iPad. Some of the new features you can expect at launch: 5 more teams including a couple from our community. (10 Total) Weather effects (snow and rain) new skies/atmospheres. More fields. Enhanced textures for alot of the game, not just high resolution versions but actual new art. iPad optimized interface. Plus much more coming shortly after launch!

Thought we would treat you all with a glimpse of some of the new details we’re adding for the HD version of Super Shock Football.  Above are our fictional in-game ads that you can spot on the stadium walls. We tried using our own logo but it just didn’t fit right in the the fun vintage world. So we created something a little more in line with the games style and humor. Enjoy!

We need your help coming up with funny team names for one of Super Shocks future updates!

You can come up with as many suggestions as you like. If you want to create something in photoshop or whatever, then you get bonus points.

After you stuff yourself on Thanksgiving, You can stuff your iphone with some football goodness as well. That’s because Super Shock Football will be FREE on Black Friday. This is a one day only event. So mark your calendars for this Friday and get it while it’s FreEEeeeeEEeee!

We’re excited to announce that Super Shock Football is now available for the low low price of just 99  pennies!  Even better still….. we  just submitted our first major update to Apple. It should find its way to your iphone in the next week or two. Here’s a complete list of what’s in the update….

■ Added timer to passing target. (varies for difficulty)

■ Improved defensive A.I. (varies for difficulty)

■ Added ability to rotate players.

■ Added fast forward button during plays.

■ New Open Feint with chat enabled.
